The Madness Begins!

Awwww shit! The NCAA Tournament Selection is set and that quote from one of my favorite movies of all time best decribes the way i feel about it. The biggest surprise to me has got to be seeing SDSU making it to the big dance, ranked friggin' 11th! I didnt know they were even in contention for the NIT. Seeing them there makes me very happy-Big Ups. Second biggest surprise has got to be Gongaza. They got totally snubbed out of a #2, even #1 seed while Syracuse -whatevs. What's yr hype got to do with me? I'm not tryna hear that see...

the most amazing game in this tourney has to be the Pittsburgh/Kansas game (granted they win their opening round game). This year is total insanity. Theres so much talent everywhere and half of them, if not more are underclassmen. And next year...? FUCK....after the new CBA agreement in the NBA, all the high school talent have no choice but to choose a college and get their learn on--Thats total madness*. Imagine what kobe, garnett, tmac or lebron wouldve done in the college game, only one word: Anihilation.


Back to this years tourney though....

DUkies are fucking taking this, hands down. As much as i thrive when i see them not go far and have another team hand them their ass, I'd be dumb not to have them succeed. That team was good last year and they are great this year. Theyve got leadership on the court, loads of talent, inside-outside balance, and younglins. And you cant take nothing from JJ Reddicks insane season. Dudes got G.O.A.T. status. Top that off with the Landlord, Sheldon Williams (I like this guys game as much as Reddicks) and youd be foolish not to pick Duke.

Kansas was unbelievable the second half of the year. Watching them lose big to Texas and recover to kill them in the Big 12 tourney showed that they got talent to make it happen this year, but ill say no With hopes that they all return to to do big things next year.

Texas was my choice for a long time. PJ Tucker is raw as fuck! Probably the most exciting player ive seen this year. Hes got limitless atheliticism combined with a knack for knowing the game. Dude could D you up and score at will. he scraps for loose balls and fight for rebounds. Dude just straght up hustles. This guy will be something one day. Id have them in the final four if it wasnt for Duke. What a damn shame.

Gonzaga is the shit no matter what conference theyre in. Morrison has been getting all the press, and its well deserved but fuck man, JP Batista. This guy is also gonna make a big impact on the next level. Him and Morrison will lead them far but eventually get knocked off by Duke.

Fucking Duke. This bracket is sooooo lop-sided. Really gonna ruin quality games. Still though, its gonna be fun to watch it all go down.

*Madness #1: NCAA basketballs increased talent and level of intensity and competion will make it more exiting to watch than NBA. Fuck YEA. Madness #2: Rich white guys making money off of poor black guys, who they do not pay or educate. Fuck thaaat.
